SERVPRO of Arlington Heights/Prospect Heights was called out because this homeowner in Arlington Heights had water coming in during the storms.  Luckily for this homeowner, it was only one room that was affected and the carpet could be lifted, and padding removed to dry out the water damage. 

During periods of heavy rain surface water may pool around the house, or accumulate in hard surface depressions such as driveways or roads adjacent to a home. During extreme weather events, this water can flow into the home. Close proximity to a natural stream or road-side ditch can also present a risk.
