Storms bring heavy rains

During local storms, SERVPRO of Arlington Heights/Prospect Heights was called out to service this home after the sump pump failed to remove all the water from the homes basement.  

If the power goes out your pump will not work so consider installing a battery-powered backup system. This will kick on as soon as a power outage occurs a charged backup system can last up to 7 hours. Installing a battery-powered backup system is like getting extra insurance on your system. It’s always a good idea to have backup in case of a power outage.
